We teamed up with the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks to create an engaging graphics package for Lumen Field during the 2022 season, featuring four unique animations: Fumble Rumble, Launch the Hawk, Super Charge Meter, and BlitzBlast Meter. Each animation was designed to elevate the game-day experience, engaging fans of all ages and celebrating the Seahawks' unique culture and the Pacific Northwest spirit.
Fumble Rumble, inspired by the classic game Plinko, kept fans engaged with an unpredictable, bouncing path down the scoreboard. Launch the Hawk featured powerful visuals, while Super Charge Meter built anticipation with each play. BlitzBlast Meter rounded out the package, energizing the crowd with bold, dynamic graphics.
To develop these animations, we started by crafting concept art that highlighted iconic Seattle landmarks. Our background artist created a cohesive mural as the backdrop, while our 3D and 2D teams modeled environments, props, and animations that gave each sequence a distinctly PNW feel.

On on hand, our backgrounds were an ode to Seattle's most famous landmarks, like the Space Needle, the Fremont Troll, and the Gum Wall. But on the other, they also needed to be a functional game board with realistic interactivity between the ball and the background.
First, we created concept art. Once approved, we began building out the playable board, paying special attention to creating moments for drama and anticipation. Our 3D team modeled the board to create the surfaces that the ball would interact with, and we applied the 2D illustrated background to that.
To make the ball's movements realistic, we created a simulation for the ball traveling down the plain 3D modeled game board. This way we could tweak any bounces to make sure it hit the right narrative beats in the overall game.
There is a wide variety of surfaces in the game, such as tree branches, jellyfish, drums, and more. Our animation team made sure the simulations felt appropriate to the surfaces, then added effects like impact waves or splashing coffee.

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
